Understanding Invoices & Billing

FPS.ms uses a prepaid balance system. You add funds to your account, and purchases are deducted from that balance. Here is how billing and invoices work.

How the Balance System Works

  • You top up your account balance using Stripe or crypto.
  • When you purchase a server, register a domain, or renew a service, the cost is deducted from your balance.
  • Your balance never expires -- unused funds stay in your account until you spend them.
  • If your balance is too low for a purchase, you need to add more funds first.

What Triggers Charges

  • Server purchases -- deploying a new paid server from the Launchpad.
  • Server renewals -- monthly charges to keep your server active.
  • Domain registration -- registering or renewing a domain name.
  • Web hosting -- DirectAdmin web hosting services.

Viewing Invoices

  1. Go to Balance in the sidebar under the Account section, or go directly to panel.fps.ms/shop/payments. Recent invoices are shown directly on this page.
  2. For a full list, click View all or navigate to Invoices in the sidebar.
Each invoice shows:
  • Date -- when the invoice was generated.
  • Amount -- total amount including tax (if applicable).
  • Status -- payment status (e.g., Paid).

Downloading Invoices

Click the download icon next to any invoice to download it as a PDF. This is useful for bookkeeping or expense tracking.
Tax Information
If you are in the EU, invoices include VAT based on your billing country. Make sure your billing address is up to date under Account > Personal Settings for accurate tax calculations.

Transaction History

The Payments page also includes a Transaction History section showing all top-up transactions with their payment method, amount, date, and status (Completed, Pending, or Failed). Pending Stripe payments can be resumed by clicking Continue next to the transaction.
