How does Pro work?
It is good to know that FPS.ms does not make use of a Subscription based model where you get an invoice each month for your server. You can simply upgrade your existing Always Free server to Pro via the UPGRADE SERVER TO PRO button on the right side of your console or buy a brand new server for which you have to manually extend the Pro status with your Balance, which can be topped up here.
If your server expires, it just simply falls back to the Always Free plan. Renewal system will take effect again for this server, but you can always upgrade it back to Pro. Keep in mind you have to renew a free server every 28 days to keep the data.
What kind of Support can I get with Pro?
Keep in mind FPS.ms does not (and will never) offer Managed support, where we configure or build your server entirely. We would be glad to help you steer you in the right direction when it comes to errors, but FPS.ms is still a self-managed hosting provider. Our exclusive Pro tickets on the discord server are a great way to get our attention faster and help you out.
Can I sell items on my server with Pro?
Yes, you are able to use FPS.ms commercially in your entire account - including Always Free - if you have a Pro server, but exceptions apply. A server where the main commercial activities take place has to be a Pro server. To give two examples:
-
Jonathan has two products:
-
a Pro Minecraft proxy server;
- an Always Free Minecraft server;
In this case, Jonathan is not permitted to use FPS.ms commercially since the main activities that attract commercial usage is not a Pro server.
-
Tim has three products:
-
a Pro Minecraft server;
- an Always Free Minecraft proxy server;
- an Always Free Discord bot;
In this case, Tim is permitted to use FPS.ms commercially as the server that pushes people to pay for items, ranks and cosmetics take place in the main Minecraft server and not the proxy.
