DDNS Packages & Upgrades

Caner Mar 14, 2026

FPS.ms offers both free and paid DDNS packages. Paid packages provide longer renewal periods and support for more subdomains.

Available Packages

When creating a DDNS service, you choose a package. Each package specifies:
  • Price — monthly and/or yearly billing
  • Renewal period — how long the service lasts before needing renewal
  • Max subdomains — how many services you can have on that package
The free package allows 1 DDNS service per account. Paid packages may allow additional services and offer yearly billing with savings.

Upgrading Your Service

If you are on the free package and want more features:
  1. Go to DDNS and click on your service.
  2. Click Upgrade Package.
  3. Choose between monthly or yearly billing (if available).
  4. Select a paid package from the list.
  5. Click Upgrade Service.
Your account balance will be charged, and the service will be activated with the new package immediately.
Info
Upgrade Only
You can only upgrade to a more expensive package. Downgrades are not available through the dashboard.

Renewal and Auto-Renewal

DDNS services can be renewed when they are expiring soon (within 24 hours), in grace period, or already expired.
  • Free packages: Click Renew Service to extend for another renewal period at no cost.
  • Paid packages: Choose to renew monthly or yearly. Your balance is charged accordingly.
Auto-renewal is available for paid packages only. Toggle it from the service detail page under the Service Details section. When enabled, FPS.ms will automatically renew your service before it expires using your account balance.

What Happens When a DDNS Service Expires

StageWhat happens
**Active**Service works normally, DNS record resolves
**Expiring soon**Within 24 hours of expiry — renewal button appears
**Grace period**Service expired but DNS record is preserved temporarily
**Deleted**Grace period ended — DNS record is removed permanently
Danger
Grace Period
Once the grace period ends, your subdomain and DNS record are permanently deleted. Renew promptly to avoid losing your subdomain.
